Projecting Hope Film Fest

Geneva College is once again sponsoring the Projecting Hope Film Festival this October 21-23. The yearly festival presents Christian films free to all audiences at Fox Chapel Waterworks Cinemas.

Tickets are available at no cost on the day of the film. Seating is limited and tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. The box office opens 45 minutes before the first scheduled show of the day.

The brand-new and anticipated movie Courageous will be shown. The latest movie by the creators of Fireproof, Courageous is the story of four law enforcement officers tackling the challenges of fatherhood. Other popular films that will be shown this year include: Soul Surfer, the true story of Bethany Hamilton, a surfer who loses her arm in a shark attack and struggles to not lose hope and return to the waves; The Grace Card, the struggle of grief and hurt that one police officer deals with until his new partner and part-time pastor shares his hope; and for younger audiences, Veggie Tales: Larry Learns to Listen, which deals with the importance of listening and following directions.

A variety of films will be shown throughout the weekend. Click here for the complete schedule and the film ratings.
