Beaver Falls, PA - Geneva College senior wide receiver A.J. Delmonico still has some football to play after all. The four-year starter for the Golden Tornadoes has been selected to represent Geneva at the 2nd Annual National Bowl Game in Allentown, PA on December 4th at 1 pm.

The National Bowl Game is a football all star game for college seniors across the nation. It is an invite only game where only All-American and All-Conference players are eligible. Over 80 of the best players are confirmed and will travel to Allentown, PA from as far as Colorado, Michigan, New Mexico, Arkansas and Oklahoma. The National Bowl is an all divisions game where players from schools like Southern Oregon and Lafayette to D2 and D3 football schools are included.

The 2nd annual game is set for famous J. Birney Crum Stadium that seats 15,000 on December 4th. The invitation also includes a weekend of practices, fellowship and camaraderie among the players. Professional scouts from the NFL, AFL, CFL and IFL will be on hand to evaluate the talent.

Delmonico is one of just two players that were picked coming out of the Presidentsā€² Athletic Conference. An honorable mention All-Conference selection in the PAC in 2011, Delmonico had 29 receptions for 344 yards and three touchdowns. He will also serve as a kick returner in the National Bowl where he posted an average of nearly 30 yards per return including an 80 yard touchdown.
