The 18th annual Geneva College Henry Mancini Musical Theatre Awards will recognize the accomplishments of students from 13 area high schools. The awards will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 7 p.m. in Metheny Fieldhouse.

Established in 1994, the Henry Mancini Musical Theatre Awards host high school students as they perform and receive awards for their school musical productions. Each year, a number of area schools are accepted into the program designed to promote and celebrate the arts in high school students. All high schools in the Beaver, Butler and Lawrence County areas are invited to attend.

Geneva College presents the awards because of its commitment to enhancing the arts in Western Pennsylvania and preserving the Mancini legacy that is part of our rich heritage.
