Jordan graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in sociology. After a successful college football career in which he finished as UCLA′s all-time leading receiver in catches and yards, he moved on to a brief career in the NFL, playing for the Arizona Cardinals, Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos.

Soon after retiring from professional football, he joined "Athletes in Action," a global sports ministry that uses sports to assist those with questions of faith, and served 10 years as the campus director at UCLA. Kevin later became the chaplain for the Steelers in March 2008. During his first year with the team, Jordan had the opportunity to travel to Super Bowl XLIII, and later returned with them for Super Bowl XLV.

Chapel, a weekly devotional time for the Geneva College community, is held on Wednesdays from 10:15-11 a.m. in Metheny Fieldhouse. This time provides an opportunity for the campus to gather together to praise God, hear His word, and seek His favor and direction. Attendance is required for students and the entire campus community is encouraged to participate.
