The Geneva College Music Department prepares a number of performances each semester, through which students share their talents with the campus and surrounding communities. Events include a wide variety of vocal and instrumental ensembles, as well as a number of student recitals.

The schedule of events for the spring semester includes:

February 17-18
A Night at the Movies
(performance to benefit the Genevans)

March 24
The Genevans Annual Spring Concert and Reunion

March 30
Saxophone Quartet

April 14
"In the Mood" by the Jazz Band

April 20
Symphonic Band Annual Spring Concert

April 26
Percussion Ensemble Annual Spring Concert

April 28
Jubilation in Bronze Handbell Choir Spring Concert
3 p.m. in John White Chapel

Chair of the Music Department Don Kephart is pleased with the variety of this year′s schedule: "The final weeks of the semester turn into a whirlwind of concerts and recitals. If you just look at the concert programs alone, you can certainly find something, if not many programs, to satisfy anyone′s musical interests."
