In one of the most anticipated Christian concerts of the year, multi-award-winning Christian artist TobyMac will perform on December 15 at 7 p.m. at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Sponsored by Generation Exodus and Geneva College, the event also features an array of guest artists: Mandisa, Britt Nicole, Jamie Grace, Brandon Heath and Chris August.

As a sponsor, Geneva has a limited number of discounted tickets available for its community. Tickets to the concert that are purchased through Geneva are $25 including all fees, a discount of $20 off the regular price. Each community member who buys a TobyMac concert ticket from Geneva will also get a free Geneva cinch bag. Since the concert falls on the final day before Christmas break, Geneva students are allowed to stay on campus for an additional night in order to properly experience this capstone event to their fall 2012 semester.

Toby MacTobyMac was originally known as the lead in the band dc Talk, which garnered four Grammys and sold eight million albums. He has again risen in popularity as a solo artist, selling two million albums and winning a 2009 Grammy amid numerous nominations. TobyMac′s musical style has been called a playful mish-mash of rap, rock, pop and funk, tied together by a bent for perfectionism and persistence. His number one singles including "Gone", "Made to Love" and "Lose My Soul."

Gospel singer Mandisa Hundley, a past TobyMac collaborator, competed on the fifth season of American Idol. The multiple GMA Dove Award nominee gained consecutive nominations for Female Vocalist of the Year.

Another concert performer, Britt Nicole, is well-known for her hit pop single “All This Time,” from her March 2012 album Gold. Her popular works also include her first studio album, 2007′s Say It, which features the songs, "You", "Believe" and "Set the World On Fire."

Twenty-year-old rising star Jamie Grace won the 2012 Dove Award for New Artist of the Year, adding it to her two number one singles—“Hold Me” and “You Lead”—and her Grammy nomination. As a college student, Grace studies children′s ministry when not touring for her singer-songwriter career.

The contemporary Christian artist Brandon Heath, propelled to fame by the success of his 2008 album What If We and popular single “Give Me Your Eyes,” has maintained high quality musicality through his latest effort, the album Leaving Eden. Regarding the single from Eden, “Your Love,” Heath says on his website, “We prayed and asked God to give us His direction. We felt He wanted us to keep it simple and talk about His love.”

An appearance by triple-Grammy-winner Chris August rounds out the evening. His repertoire includes the popular single "7x70," which was written about forgiveness following his parents' divorce when he was young, and "Starry Night," which reached number one on the Billboard Christian Songs chart.
