Beaver Falls, PA - It has been 20 years since a Geneva College football went through a season with only four home games. In 1992, the year before Geno DeMarco took over the reins of the program, Geneva finished the season with a 4-5 record that included only four home games. DeMarco becomes the school′s first football coach to reach 20 years in 2012 and his Golden Tornadoes will grace Reeves Field just four times in the regular season. In fact, the season will be four weeks old before Geneva will take the field on College Hill in week five against the four-time defending PAC champion Thomas More Saints. The Golden Tornadoes will have just one home game in the first seven weeks of the season. But for having just four home games on the schedule, it will still be a very impressive slate of games against some of the best the PAC has to offer.

Geneva opens the regular season on the road against Frostburg State on September 1st. It marks the fourth straight year the two teams have opened the regular season against each other with Geneva coming out on top in 2009 and 2010 before dropping a 34-21 decision to Frostburg at Reeves Field to open the 2011 campaign. In week two, Geneva will travel to New York state to take on Hobart College for the first time in school history. Week three opens the conference schedule at Thiel before the Golden Tornadoes will enjoy their only bye week of the season.

Following the bye, Geneva will finally return home on September 29th to face Thomas More in a 1 pm kick-off. Conference road games against Bethany and Saint Vincent are on the docket to open up October before Geneva gets back to Beaver Falls for a homecoming match-up against Waynesburg University at 4 pm. The road schedule concludes at Grove City on the last weekend of October before closing out the schedule at home with games against Washington & Jefferson and Westminster. Geneva and W & J will meet on November 3rd in the only night game of the season before Geneva and Westminster get together for a 1 pm kickoff in the 115th meeting between the two schools.
