Beaver Falls, PA - What else is there to do for Geneva College′s top running tandem? Senior Nick Edinger on the men′s cross country team and freshman Sarah-Noel Meek on the women′s cross country team are opening eyes across the Presidents′ Athletic Conference seemingly every weekend. Both runners took home the top prize at the Saint Vincent Invitational on Saturday and were rewarded with runner of the week honors by the PAC.

Competing in just the second meet of the season for Geneva′s men, Edinger won for the second time as he defeated a solid field at Saint Vincent. Edinger crossed the line with a time of 26:27 as he helped the Geneva men′s team finish fifth in the overall team competition.

Meek also won for the second time in 2012 as she took home first place in Latrobe on Saturday. Running the only 5K race of the year, Meek crossed the line with a time of 19:09, which is the fourth fastest 5K women′s time in school history. Meek′s first place finish helped lead Geneva′s women to a 50 point day that was good enough for second place in the 11-team field.
