538908_471091189591663_1389751429_n.jpgThe Geneva College Student Activities fall calendar includes a host of events, from glow-in-the-dark capture the flag to the ever-popular Film Fest.

"The Student Activities Coordinators have once again been creatively scheming to make sure that students have space to connect, laugh and make memories," says Director of Student Programs Ryan Holt. "I am incredibly excited about our fall semester schedule. I hope all students take advantage of all the engaging events planned and join in on the fun."

Homecoming Week events are scheduled for Tuesday through Friday, October 17-19 and include many family activities, as well as Homecoming Dodgeball and the Open-Mic Night talent show. The dodgeball tournament takes place Tuesday and Wednesday, October 17-18, encompassing best team costume contests and granting the winners a free, classy meal paid for by Student Activities. Midnight Madness, the college basketball kick-off, will be on Wednesday, October 31 and includes games, such as dizzy bat, and prizes.

Family Weekend on Friday, November 9 includes Family Feud and a showing of Gnomio & Juliet.

A number of activities exploring the impact of faith on music, art and film will take place during Faith & Culture Week, Monday through Friday, November 12-16.

Film Fest, one of the most popular events on campus, will be on Saturday, December 1. Students dress in formal attire and gather in Metheny Fieldhouse to enjoy student-produced films over "mocktails" and finger foods.

Fall semester events conclude Friday, December 7 with the second annual 12 Hours of Christmas.
