Beaver Falls, PA - The Geneva College soccer teams registered a perfect combined record of 4-0 last week. Both the men′s and women′s teams swept PAC matches against Saint Vincent and Westminster. While it was the offensive work of Ted Krzywiecki on the men′s side of the ledger, it was the defensive exploits of goalkeeper Anna McMullen that helped the Geneva to a perfect week. Krzywiecki was named the men′s offensive player of the week in the PAC while McMullen was handed the defensive player of the week honors on the women′s side.

Geneva′s men defeated Saint Vincent 3-2 with Krzywiecki registering two goals including the game winner in the final three minutes of the match. He also added an assist to his total in Geneva′s 3-1 victory over Westminster on Saturday night.

McMullen made a total of nine saves in picking up back to back shut-outs against Saint Vincent and Westminster. For the season, McMullen has five shut-outs and has a 1.28 goals against average.

Both Geneva teams will travel to Bethany this week before returning home for a doubleheader against conference leading Thomas More on Saturday evening.
