Beaver Falls, PA - The Geneva College women′s volleyball team dropped one conference match all of the 2011 season. On Saturday, the Golden Tornadoes fell for the second time to the same team. Geneva dropped a 3-0 decision to Thiel College to fall to 18-8 overall and 9-4 in league play.

Thiel had little trouble with Geneva in straight sets by scores of 25-22, 25-11, 25-23. The Golden Tornadoes were unable to generate much offense at the net with no player finishing with double digit kills. Kristland McCracken and Maggie Bowersox led that offense with seven kills apiece.

On defense, McCracken came away with 18 digs while Deanna Briody added 17 digs in a losing cause. Geneva will go back to the drawing board as it will look to get back into the win column on Wednesday night in New Wilmington against Westminster.
