Crestview Hills, KY - It was a long Friday for the Geneva College women′s volleyball team. The Golden Tornadoes made the 5+ hour bus trip to Thomas More on Friday only to last just over an hour on the court. The Golden Tornadoes dropped a three set match to the Saints by a count of 3-0. The loss dropped Geneva to 19-9 overall and 10-5 in league play while Thomas More remained unbeaten in the PAC.

Thomas More cruised past Geneva by scores of 25-11, 25-11, 25-18 with little or no problem against the defending PAC champions.

Geneva, which was coming off a five-set victory at Westminster on Wednesday night, will look to the final week of the season to jockey for seeding position for the PAC post-season tournament. The top six schools advance to the PAC championships with Geneva still holding down the fourth spot entering the weekend.

Geneva will close out the regular season with home matches against Bethany on Tuesday and Saint Vincent on Thursday.
