Littleprince.JPGThe Geneva College Theater Department will present its fall production, The Little Prince, on October 25-27 and November 1-3. Showings will begin at 8 p.m. on all days, with an additional 2 p.m. matinee on both Saturdays. Performances will take place at Geneva′s Studio Theatre, which is located next to Sheetz on Fourth Avenue in Beaver Falls, PA.

The play stars first-year student Gwenyth Gamble as the Little Prince and senior Adam Rowe as the Aviator. Mindy George is the director.

"This is an endearing tale of journey and adventure," said Julie James, assistant to the director.

The Little Prince is based on the satirical novella of the same name by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. This novella is the most read and most translated book in the French language, as well as one of the best-selling books ever published. It is a memoire of the narrator′s relationship with the Little Prince, a mystical creature from another planet, whom he meets in the desert following a plane crash. The story explains the narrator′s dislike of adults because of their practicality and recounts the Prince′s adventures on six different planets.

To reserve tickets, call the Geneva College Theatre Box Office at 724-847-5099. Tickets cost $3 for students, $5 for general admission, and $3.50 for seniors, faculty and staff.
