DSC_0002.jpegAround 100 students gathered in Skye Lounge last week for InTune-a concert featuring some of Geneva College′s musicians sharing their testimonies and songs.

InTune was organized by Geneva College Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) member Lynsey Auell. According to Auell, the event not only provided her an opportunity to gain event planning and promotional experience, but was also a great way to worship and give glory to God through song.

"It was incredible to see my vision for InTune come to life," said Auell. "A lot of work went into the evening, but it was worth every second of it because of the impact it had on the people who attended."

The evening opened with a performance from Geneva's Manager of Online Marketing Mike Duncan and his reassembled Christian band The Last Epic. Duncan led the crowd through several songs and shared his testimony between each song.

Other performers included sophomore Joe Wimer, juniors Pamela Matteo and Steve Johnston, sophomore Jordan DeFigio, sophomore Michael Warren and the Geneva Gospel Choir, Lynsey Auell′s younger sister high school student Natalie Auell, Troy Miller '09, and sophomore Kelcee Headlee and Brooke Pinney '12.

"InTune was an awesome time of fellowship," said senior Addison Reinhardt, who attended the concert. "I hadn't heard a lot of those people sing before so it was definitely a blessing."
