May@Geneva

May@Geneva is designed to be an affordable and convenient summer term at Geneva College running from May 13 to June 7, 2013. Classes for this session, which are taught by Geneva professors on a condensed schedule, are currently open for student registration.

In 2013, new May@Geneva options are available, including core courses such as key Humanities, Bible, Psychology and Science classes.

"The biggest addition this year are several new travel courses-on the Civil War, Shakespeare, Latin America, and Turkey," says Political Science Professor Dr. Tom Copeland. "These are great new opportunities for students to learn, in unique places away from campus."

Destinations for travel-based courses include Canada, Gettysburg, Argentina, Brazil, Istanbul, Athens and Crete.

The summer session helps students, from Geneva as well as other colleges, avoid class conflicts during the regular semester. In this way, students are able to complete a major/minor or double major in a timely fashion, focus on just one or two classes at a time, and save money on discounted tuition and housing. In addition, courses end in time for students to pursue summer job and internships.
