Beaver Falls, PA - The Geneva College women′s basketball team may have had their struggles during this past season but did not go unmentioned during the Presidents′ Athletic Conference (PAC) post season awards. In the nature of competition success is not promised yet staying steadfast throughout the whole season the basketball programs domineer in being ambassadors of Christ showed through consistent sportsmanship. Geneva College and second-year head coach Lori Wynn were awarded with the PAC Sportsmanship Award for the 2012-13 season.

Along with the team′s award, freshman Heidi Mann from Colorado Springs, Colorado was given honorable mention consideration during the PAC post-season awards. Mann averaged 12.4 points a game finishing as the tenth highest average scorer in the conference along with finishing third for most steals with 73 in the 25 games played.

The women′s basketball program has been awarded with the sportsmanship award two consecutive years under the direction of head Coach Lori Wynn and she leads the team in seeking to honor the Lord with talent and attitude.
