Alumni Relations and the Office of Career Development will co-host the third annual Student and Alumni Networking Event on Wednesday, February 13 from 5:45-7:30 p.m. The event, which will take place in Skye Lounge of the Student Center, features a panel of alumni answering questions regarding the interview process, networking, faith in the workplace, graduate school and experiences outside of Geneva College.

"The Student-Alumni Career Networking Event is a wonderful opportunity for alumni to guide and encourage current students, and for students to gain firsthand wisdom as they prepare for their vocational callings," noted Director of Alumni Relations Tom Stein. "The alumni may even find future employees, and the students may discover future employers."

There will be alumni in attendance representing communications/communications disorders, business, computer science, English, engineering, biology, athletics and history/political science.

Senior Logan Scavo, who attended the event last year, explained, "The alumni were friendly and gave good advice. It was helpful to hear first-hand about what potential careers will look like."

The Student and Alumni Networking Event is part of the "Beyond Here: The Senior Success Project" program.

To register for the event, visit www.geneva.edu/object/student_alumni_networking_13. Or email alumni@geneva.edu and include name and major.
