Each summer, Geneva College offers three terms of classes between May and August. By taking advantage of these courses, students are able to save money through a reduced tuition rate of $325 per credit, as well as avoid class conflicts during the fall and spring semesters. In addition, enrolling in a summer term often helps students graduate on time, or even earlier than traditionally expected. And high school students and students who have been accepted for admission to Geneva may get a head start on their college careers.
The first summer term, May@Geneva, runs from May 13 to June 7, 2013. Course offerings include key classes for the Core and certain majors, as well some other electives and travel options. During the May@Geneva term, students have access to a full range of campus services including the Fitness Center, McCartney Library, the Academic Counseling Center & Educational Support Services (ACCESS) Office, the infirmary, computer labs, business office and campus bookstore. Students are able to stay in a residence hall and a meal plan is available.
Although Summer Sessions II and III do not offer full campus services or overnight accommodations, these terms remain valuable for students looking to stay on track or get ahead in coursework. Summer Session II is from June 10 to July 12, 2013. Summer III begins July 15 and ends August 15, 2013.
Summer courses are open to current Geneva students, students who are completing degree requirements from other institutions and high school students in the Early College Program.
