Beaver Falls, PA – It had been over a month since the Geneva College softball team lost a game. On Saturday, a nine-game winning streak came to an end as the Golden Tornadoes managed a split against Thiel at Conrady Field. Geneva took game one by the score of 10-3 but dropped the night cap 8-0 in five innings. The split moved Geneva′s overall record to 13-9 including a 7-1 mark in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference.

Geneva came right back with a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning on a two-run single from Elyssa Simko. The score remained 3-2 until a Geneva offensive explosion of eight runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.
