nr_genmag_summer2012.jpgThe summer issue of Geneva Magazine is available online is currently being mailed to Geneva College alumni. Physical copies may also be found in kiosks located in the entrance of Skye Lounge, Alexander Dining Hall, Northwood and the lobby of Old Main.

The theme is "At the Heart of Instruction." The stories demonstrate how members of the Geneva community-alumni, current students and faculty-are reflecting Proverbs 23:12 in their lives and jobs: "Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge."

Feature articles include "Assets for Education" a profile of 1995 graduate Dr. William Elliott III, a leading researcher in the field of children′s assets and educational outcomes; "Absolutely Worth It," about 2007 graduate Emily Stains who was recently named one of the top 20 teachers in Henrico County, Virginia; "Let the Little Children Come," which recounts the amazing 61-year career of pediatrician and professor Dr. Antoinette (Parisi ′52) Eaton; and much more.

And as with every issue, Geneva Magazine also contains the latest campus news, updated "Class Notes," "In Motion", "In Service" and "In Conclusion."
