Latrobe, PA - The Presidents′ Athletic Conference (PAC) hosted their Media Day at St. Vincent′s campus Wednesday afternoon. The day included a question and answer time with each PAC Head football coach and a football student-athlete, time for personal interviews with members of the press and the taking and release of the 2013 PAC Football Preseason Poll. Geneva and Bethany resulted in a tie for the fifth place slot while Washington & Jefferson took on the target, being polled first place, the first time since 2008.

The Presidents Head Coach, Mike Sirianni, said "We are honored to be chosen as the preseason favorite," said Sirianni. "We expect to win and we're a confident team. With that being said, our league is so deep from top to bottom. We are very aware of how difficult it is to repeat." The poll, designed to give a gage for 2013 expectations, has been known to be deceptive as all PAC football programs enter the 2013 season knowing no game is a given win. Geneva Head coach Geno DeMarco puts it simply, "everybody is good." The Golden Tornadoes will continue to look to the process of improving coming off a 3-5 conference record in 2012. Tying Bethany at the fifth place slot shows the level of competition the upcoming season will hold; promising GT fans an exciting 2013 ride.
