Men′s Soccer faced Lycoming on Saturday for 110 minute 2-2 draw

Williamsport, PA - Geneva become frustrated with their second tie of the season after traveling to Williamsport, PA. Lycoming′s last minute goal off a penalty kick lead to a scoreless overtime finish; with a final score of 2-2. The tie bumps Geneva′s overall record to 3-2-2.

The first 40 minutes of play both Geneva and Lycoming were unable to score. Off a corner kick, Lycoming Connor McNiff scored for a half time result 1-0.

35 more minutes passed with Geneva down by one. Suddenly, Jeremy Troutman broke away from Lycoming defense for a Geneva goal. On fire, Troutman connected a pass to Garrett Masters in the 83rd minute of the game to take a 2-1 lead. A penalty kick was awarded the Lycoming, taken by Bill Kerr, tying the game at 2-2 with one minute and 11 seconds to go. After two long overtime periods, Geneva and Lycoming ended at a draw.

Moving forward, Geneva will host Pitt-Greensburg at 7 p.m. on Monday.
