Geneva split the week with a win against Pitt-Greensburg on Monday 2-1 and suffered a loss to LaRoche on Wednesday 2-0.

Pittsburgh, PA- Geneva traveled to La Roche Tuesday afternoon to continue their non-conference play. Unfortunately, Geneva was unable to find the net and dropped a 2-0 decision to the La Roche Redhawks. The loss leaves Geneva′s overall record at 4-3-2.

La Roche got on the scoreboard early when Ryan Luffy scored in the eighth minute of the match assisted by Chad Trozzi and Robert Fraino. The next 69 minutes would remain scoreless until La Roche′s Fraino headed the ball past Geneva goalkeeper Bryan Butler. The Golden Tornadoes were able to post 12 shots to the Redhawks′ 10 but none made their way past La Roche goalkeeper, Zach Schindehette.

Geneva will be back in action next Wednesday when they return home to host John Carroll University at 7 p.m.
