Geneva rallied Thiel on Tuesday for a 7-2 final. Due to weather the Grove City match was postponed to September 16th. Finishing up the week, Geneva traveled to Houghton for a well worth it trip. The Golden Tornadoes finished 9-0 over Houghton raising their overall record to 4-1.

Houghton, NY - Geneva Tennis made the long trip out to Houghton College worth it. The Golden Tornadoes finished 9-0 over Houghton raising their overall record to 4-1.

Julie Kline and Christine Bullock in the first doubles slot defeated opponents 8-2. Likewise Same Jensen and Jen Bullock earned 8-2 win in the second round of doubles. The Golden Tornadoes know when you have a good thing going, why stop? So, Brittany Kress and Courtney Light also finished with a 8-2 win in the third and final round of doubles.

All six single matches Geneva took the win in. Starting with Elizabeth Stewart (6-4, 6-1), Julie Kline (6-1, 6-3), Sam Jensen (6-2, 6-4), Brittany Kress (6-2, 6-2), Jen Bullock (6-3, 6-2) and finishing up the landslide win was Megan Hinds (6-0, 6-0).

The Golden Tornadoes will hop back on the bus but this time for a much shorter distance to face the Washington and Jefferson Presidentsā€² at 4 p.m on Wednesday.
