Tennis continues to succeed with wins over Bethany and Penn State Altoona this week which secures a winning season for the team.

Beaver Falls, PA - Geneva Women′s Tennis secured a winning 2013 season with today′s 8-1 win over Penn State Altoona. The win raised their overall record to 8-2, 5-2 in the PAC.

The Golden Tornado doubles finished 3-0 against the Lions; Julie Kline/Christine Bullock (8-5), Brittany Kress/Courtney Light (8-1), and Alison Beattie/Megan Sweyer (8-2). Geneva swiftly took control of the single matches for a 5-1 singles′ results. In the mix, C. Bullock defeated opponent with a 6-1, 6-0 final and teammate Kress won 6-2, 6-0.

Geneva will host Roberts Wesleyan at Blackhawk High school for the last home game of the season at 5:30 p.m.
