Geneva split the week defeating Point Park on Wednesday. Saturday they dropped a 1-0 decision to Mt. Union moving their overall record to 3-3

Beaver Falls, PA - Geneva Women′s Soccer was allotted another game on the turf due to rain. Geneva hosted Mt. Union for a 2 p.m. game and was handed a 1-0 loss for a 3-3 overall record.

Mt. Union scored at the 12 minute mark from the foot of Shannon Evans. For the next 78 minutes both nets would remain empty as the play in the midfield when back and forth. In the mix, Geneva took six shots to Mt. Union′s seven. Of those six Golden Tornado shots, four where from Sophomore Heidi Mann. In goal, Karmyn Culbertson number one opponent was the slick wet turf surface. Culbertson collected one save in the seven shots faced and five Mt. Union corner kicks.

Wednesday Geneva will host Franciscan at 4 p.m. at home to continue non conference play.
