Geneva College′s Financial Aid Office will host a webinar for alumni on Tuesday, October 29 from 7-8 p.m. This webinar will teach loan repayment tips and strategies for alumni who have graduated within the last 10 years.

The webinar will address the following topics:

  • Figuring out how much is owed and who to pay
  • Determining if loans should be consolidatedApplying for loan forgiveness
  • Option if payments can′t be afforded or in the case of unemployment
  • Ways to save money on loans

"The mission of Geneva College is to equip students for faithful and fruitful service to God and neighbor-and that service can be significantly impacted by their student loan debt and financial literacy," said Allyson Bentz, Assistant Director of Financial Aid. "Our hope is that what they learn during the webinar will ease their anxiety and help them craft a strategy to crush their debt as quickly as possible."
