PAC102813.jpgBeaver Falls, PA - Among conference rivals, two Geneva student-athletes have been selected by the Presidents′ Athletic Conference (PAC) as the Players of the week for their performances in their sport during last week′s competitions. Sean Bernardi from Geneva′s Men′s Soccer team was honored as the PAC Offensive Player of the Week and Brie Dickson was named the PAC Women′s Volleyball Player of the Week.

Sean Bernardi caught wind of Jeremey Troutman′s push to the net with a 1-1 game against St. Vincent. Bernardi positioned himself in the right place at the right time to take the Bearcat goalkeepers deflected save and scored for a 2-1 lead. Ten minutes into the second half, a pass combo from Jesse Herman and Garrett Masters would set Bernardi to strike again for the third and final goal of the night, Bernardi′s fourth of the season.

Freshman Defense Specialist, Brie Dickson, has wasted no time in making an impact for the Golden Tornadoes. Dickson contributed 27 digs in the week over Waynesburg and Westminster. In the grueling five set match over Westminster on Saturday, Dickson served four aces and added 13 digs to the defensive effort in the team′s win.
