Beaver Falls, PA - The Geneva Men′s Soccer team has been unable to score since their single goal win over Thiel. The scoreless 90 minutes allotted overtime against the Washington and Jefferson President′s. W&J found the back of Geneva′s net in overtime, handing Geneva their second Presidents′ Athletic Conference (PAC) loss. The loss drops Geneva′s overall record to 5-6-2, 1-2 in the PAC.
Geneva′s offense was led by senior forward, Jeremey Troutman; two of Troutman′s three shots were on net. In total, Geneva and W&J each had 13 shots. Geneva was able to find seven shots in the first half and four shots in the second half and two in overtime. W&J′s offense was led by Cody Peddicord with four shots, two on goal, supported by teammate James Calvert with three shots all on net. It would be Brian Hanna to find the game winning goal at the 97th minute mark. Despite taking the loss, Geneva goalkeeper, Bryan Butler collected seven saves.
On Wednesday Geneva will travel to Grove City to face the Wolverines at 4 p.m.
