Latrobe, PA - Geneva Volleyball earned its fourth straight win against the St. Vincent Bearcats today. Geneva defeated St. Vincent in three games; 25-19, 25-18, 25-19.
The win raises Geneva′s overall record to 18-9, 12-2 in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference (PAC).
Geneva glided in the first two sets and rallied to clinch the three game win. In game three, Geneva trailed by seven after losing an early 4-3 edge. The Golden Tornadoes closed the gap, taking back the lead at 16-15 and never looked back.
Ashley Davis continued to lead the Golden Tornado offense at St. Vincent today with 10 kills supported by Rachel Netherland with seven kills. Deanna Briody collected 27 assists in the mix and led the defense with 19 digs. Netherland also contributed to defense with 11digs with Brie Dixon with 10. Around the net, Olivia Test put down three solo blocks and assisted in three more.
On Wednesday Geneva will travel to Waynesburg for its next conference game at 7 p.m.
