Beaver Falls, PA - The Golden Tornadoes dominated at Waynesburg with three swift sets of 25-18, 25-8, 25-12 for a 3-0 final decision. The win is the Golden Tornadoes fifth consecutive win, improving their overall record to 19-9, 13-2 in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference (PAC).

Geneva found its consistent stride all over the court at Waynesburg. Brie Dickson served six aces in the second set alone, finishing with seven total. Rachel Netherland led the team in kills with 10 supported by Ashley Davis with eight. Deanna Briody set for 25 assists while Netherland assisted in nine. Dixon and Davis lead the GT defense as Dixon collected 14 and Davis found 12. Around the net, Erin Smith and Netherland each had four blocks.

Co-head Coach Curt Conser commented, "Set two we found our stride. In that set alone our team hit down 16 kills in 33 swings for an unbelievable team hitting percentage of 0.48. To say the least, we played well tonight."

The Golden Tornadoes are back on home court for an 11:00 a.m. match on Saturday against Westminster.
