Beaver Falls, PA - The Geneva College Volleyball Golden Tornadoes defended its home court with ease against the St. Vincent Tomcats. Geneva defeated the Bearcats in three games (25-13, 25-19, 25-9) raising their record to 14-7 overall, 8-0 in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference (PAC).

Ashley Davis and Rachel Netherland each grabbed 11 kills in the action. Davis was honored between games two and three in her achievement of surpassing the 1000 kill mark as a Golden Tornado. Davis also served three aces matched by teammate McKala King. Deanna Briody earned 25 assists for a current total of 3857 assists during her Geneva career, shattering the previous record of 3690. A team defensive effort was shown by Bri Dickson with 11 digs, King with nine digs and Briody with seven.

PAC play continues on Saturday as Geneva travels to Kentucky to face Thomas More at 11 a.m. and Bethany at 1 p.m.
