Geneva Volleyball had a busy week with a win against St. Vincent but fell on hard times losing to Juniata on Wednesday and PAC rivals Thomas More and Bethany on Saturday dropping their conference record to 8-2.

Crestview Hills, KY - The Golden Tornadoes stainless streak in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference (PAC) came to an end in today′s double header volleyball action in Kentucky. Geneva suffered a 3-1 loss to Thomas More (23-25, 25-20, 23-45, 18-25) followed 3-0 loss to Bethany. The two losses drop Geneva′s overall record to 14-9, 8-2 in the PAC.

Rachel Netherland led Geneva′s offensive in game one against the Saints with 13 kills. Ashley Davis and Erin Smith each collected 10 kills to support the effort. Deanna Briody set for 37 assists in the mix. Bri Dixon finished with 22 digs.

In game two against the Bethany Bison Olivia Test and Netherland each hit 10 kills with apiece followed closely by Davis with eight kills. Briody grabbed 36 assists while Smith protected the net with four blocks. McKayla King earned 16 digs and Davis 15 for the GT′s.

Geneva looks ahead to Tuesday where they will host Thiel College at 7 p.m.
