Geneva Volleyball had only one match this week against Thiel and sent them on their way in three sets lifting their PAC record to 9-2 and overall record to 15-9.

Beaver Falls, PA - The Golden Tornadoes earned their way back into the PAC win column in a three game win over the Thiel Tomcats (25-15, 25-19, 25-18). The win raises Geneva′s overall record to 15-9, 9-2 in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference.

Ashley Davis led the attack with 18 kills supported by Erin Smith with 11 in 18 swings and Rachel Netherland with nine kills. Deanna Briody made 35 assist passes for a career 3967. Bri Dickson served three aces on the night. A defensive effort was made up by Netherland (14 digs), Davis (13 digs), Dickson (10 digs), and Briody (8 digs).

The GT′s will take the rest of the week off from competition. Next Tuesday, October 15th, Geneva will travel to Grove City for a match at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 18th the Golden Tornadoes will be back at home to host the Washington and Jefferson Presidents at 7 p.m.
