Women′s soccer struggled this week as they lost 3-1 to Grove City and 1-0 against Saint Vincent.

New Wilmington, PA- Geneva hit the road on Saturday afternoon to continue Presidents′ Athletic Conference play. The day did not end well when the Westminster Titans scored in the first half defeating Geneva 1-0. The loss drops Geneva′s PAC record to 1-4 and overall record of 4-10.

The game was an even battle with the Golden Tornadoes barely holding an advantage in shots with 11 to Westminster′s 10. The Titan′s were able to finish one of their scoring opportunities in the 20th minute when Amanda Turi powered a shot passed Geneva goalkeeper Anna McMullen. McMullen registered four saves in the loss while Westminster goalkeeper Rachael Letscher was forced to make eight. The rest of the match would not hear from the Golden Tornadoes as their offense could not conquer the Titan defense.

Geneva will enjoy two games at home this week starting Tuesday night as they take on the Saint Vincent Bearcats at 7 p.m. and then again on Saturday against Chatham at 2 p.m.
