The PAC released its All-PAC Football honors early this week. After a solid overall season, the Golden Tornadoes were rewarded with a litany of awards.

SMB_7878_PAC.jpgBeaver Falls, PA- ThePresidents′ Athletic Conference (PAC) released its All-PAC Football honors early this week. After a solid overall season, the Golden Tornadoes were rewarded with a litany of awards.

Freshman defensive back Tim Martin received the 2013 PAC Newcomer Award for his tremendous freshman campaign. Martin led the league in both interceptions (6) and passes defended (20). Martin also ranked second in all of NCAA Division III in passes defended per game (2.0).

Rocco Colavecchia and Dillon Goodell were both selected to the All-PAC First Team for their work in the 2013 season. Colavecchia visited the end zone an outstanding 23 total times as a rusher, passer and receiver. As a truly dynamic all-purpose offensive threat, Colavecchia had 294 rushing yards and 535 receiving yards on the season.

Linebacker Dillon Goodell led the PAC in tackles this season with 108. Goodell also added 11 tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks to his stellar senior season.

Mike Underwood, Montias Jackson and Tim Martin were selected to the All-PAC Second Team. Offensive line Mike Underwood was a stalwart for Geneva while protecting quarterback Zack Hayward on a weekly basis. Defensive line Montias Jackson had 35 tackles, 11 tackles for a loss and a tremendous 8.5 sacks in his senior campaign. Defensive back Tim Martin added 35 tackles to his aforementioned defensive dominance.

Geneva also received nine honorable mention awards. Selected for All-PAC Honorable Mention were QB Zack Hayward, WR Lemuel Fuller, OL Brandon Martin, RB Dylan Jones, DL Brett Alberti, LB John Onufer, LB Ed Schuster, DB Rashad Briscoe and RET Zachary Taylor. Highlighting these awards was QB Zack Hayward. Hayward was second in the PAC with 3193 total offensive yards from scrimmage. Hayward compiled 2739 passing yards and 454 rushing yards while passing for 14 touchdowns and rushing for two more. WR Lemuel Fuller finished third in the PAC with 88 receiving yards per game while pulling in 67 catches for 792 yards and 7 touchdowns. LB John Onufer finished second in the PAC in tackles with 104. Onufer also added 10 tackles for a loss and three sacks to his overall defensive statistics.
