Davis is one of only six Division III student-athletes from across the entire state of Pennsylvania to be awarded with this prestigious honor.

gc-vball-10-13-247.jpgBeaver Falls, PA - Geneva′s Ashley Davis recently earned First Team NCAA Division III Academic All-District honors from Capital One and the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) for her performance on and off the volleyball court. Davis is one of only six Division III student-athletes from across the entire state of Pennsylvania to be awarded with this prestigious honor.

While leading the Golden Tornadoes to a 22-10 overall record, Davis finished the season leading the Presidents′ Athletic Conference in overall kills (395) and kills per game (3.76). Most importantly, Davis has maintained a fantastic 3.76 GPA at Geneva as she majors in Business. Throughout her four years at Geneva, Davis has demonstrated tremendous success both on the court and off as a two-sport athlete for the Golden Tornadoes.

As a member of the All-District First Team, Davis will advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team Ballot, where she will have the opportunity to be voted first, second or third team All-American later this month.
