Crestview Hills, KY- Geneva′s muster could not compare with the nationally ranked sixth seed Thomas More Saints and its four time Presidents′ Athletic Conference women′s player of the week, Sydney Moss. After a hard fought game, Geneva found itself upended 94-46, dropping its overall record to 1-10, 0-5.

The first half Geneva kept pace moving the ball but only found six field goals to show the efforts. Entering into the second half down 53-16, Geneva continued to struggle with 17 unanswered points by the Saints. Geneva did create momentum with five three-pointers, three from Miranda Heaney and two from sister and twin Marissa Heaney in the later part of the second half. Heidi Mann finished with the team′s high of 15 points followed by Miranda Heaney with 11 points. Mann and Mary Keen led the Golden Tornado defense with seven rebounds apiece.'

Geneva will hit the road one more time before returning home on Wednesday, January 15th. Saturday the GT′s will be hosted by the Grove City Wolverines (1-9) with tip-off at 1 p.m.
