Geneva College will be offering two classes at the Regional Learning Alliance (RLA) in Cranberry Township, PA, this May and June for both the Special Education and Reading graduate programs. An information session regarding these classes will be held at the RLA on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 5 - 6:30 p.m. A buffet dinner will be served during the session.

Through Geneva′s programs, students can earn either a certification or a Master of Education degree by taking classes in a convenient, blended format. These courses meet the educational needs for public and private school teachers, non-profit educators and other professionals. And teachers are able to earn Level 2 certification credits.

In addition, professional educators working in other private sectors are able to apply the knowledge and strategies learned in the programs while working with those who have learning disabilities, emotional and behavior disorders, autism, ADHD, and intellectual and physical disabilities.

"The professors are more than helpful and always have your best interest in mind," says Karlie Urso, a graduate of the M.Ed. in Special Education program. "Most everything that I learned in the classrooms, I could immediately apply with my own class. For several years, I was lucky to be a part of such a caring, encouraging and Christian environment."
