The Odyssey premieres on Thursday, February 27 at 8 p.m., with additional shows February 28 and March 1 at 8 p.m. and a matinee performance on March 1 at 2 p.m. After spring break, The Odyssey will run a second week: Thursday through Saturday, March 20 - 22 at 8 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee show on March 22.

Performances of Mary Zimmerman's dramatic adaptation of the ancient Greek epic will take place at Geneva′s Studio Theatre, which is located next to Sheetz on Fourth Avenue in Beaver Falls, PA.

This new adaption, directed by Dr. David Kuhns and Mindy George, is based on Odysseus′ epic journey home to Penelope with all of the classic obstacles.

The cast is composed of the Geneva students Justin Addicott, Evelyn Ashleigh, Meghan Bailey, Kendall Bair, Aaron Barker, Lindsey Bernheisel, Zack Bowman, Martha Emery, Josiah Everett, Rebekah Farkas, Cameron Hawk, Jacob Hockenbrocht, Austin Jarvi, Alison Kolber, Ruth Martin, Owen Matthess, Ian Miller, McKenna Pontoli, Caitlin Radziewski, Hannah Rozgonyi and Chris Strangfeld.

To reserve tickets, call the Geneva College Theatre Box Office at 724-847-5099. Tickets cost $3 for students, $5 for general admission, and $3.50 for seniors, faculty and staff.
