Washington, PA - The weather forced the game to be delayed but the delay didn′t help the Golden Tornadoes as they fell behind in the first inning and never regained their footing.

"We faced the top pitcher and the top team in the conference and they lived up to their reputation," said Geneva coach Alan Sumner. "We need to regroup and come out ready to play Saturday."

Aaron Witman (Shalom Christian Academy, PA) had an exceptional day at the plate for Geneva with a double, home run, two runs scored, and two driven in. Donnie Tong (Tree of Life Christian, OH) also had three singles for Geneva, who will play two against W&J Saturday.

Geneva is now 11-22 and 7-10 in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference.
