gcsoftball13234.jpgCresson, PA - A day after sweeping Grove City, the Geneva softball team took its act on the road for non-conference action to Mount Aloysius and the results weren′t good. The Golden Tornadoes managed just one run in 12 hits in falling 7-1 and 7-0.

"As well as we played Wednesday that's as bad as we were on Thursday, said Geneva coach Van Zanic. "We need to get past this and get ready for St. Vincent on Saturday."

The stars were few for Geneva, now 11-10 overall. Christina Fuqua (Richard Montgomery, MD) had two hits including a double in the first game and Laura Beck (Canfield, OH) had a triple in each game.

Geneva visits St. Vincent Saturday.
