Geneva men′s soccer ties Mount Vernon Nazarene

gcmSoccerTeam13.jpgBEAVER FALLS, PA -The Geneva College men′s soccer team followed up an opening night win with a 2-2 double overtime tie with Mount Vernon Nazarene (OH).

"Mount Vernon is a very good team and, overall, I′m very happy with our weekend," said Geneva head coach Gary Dunda.

"Both teams had chances but neither could convert to win."

The tie brings Geneva′s record on the young season to 1-0-1. The Geneva goals were scored by Josh Brenize and Nate Musselman.

Geneva next plays Thursday at Franciscan University (OH).
