Beaver Falls, PA- Pitt Bradford came to Reeves Field this afternoon to kick off the Geneva women′s soccer 2014 season. Geneva′s returning starter sophomore forward, Kimberly Orihel (Clinton, OH/Cuyahoga Valley Christian) cracked the Panthers defense in less than seven minutes into play. To Geneva′s dismay, Orihel′s goal was the only time Geneva was able to find the back of the net while the Pittsburgh Bradford Panthers upset the GT′s defense four times, handing Geneva a 4-1 final loss.

"We saw lots of offensive potential from this first game but also plenty of things to fix which will help us prepare for our next game" said head coach Linda Sumner.

Geneva hosts the Pitt Greensburg Bobcats on Wednesday September 3rd at 7 p.m.
