nr_alex_nosash.jpgAlexander Dining Hall was revamped this summer in order to improve the dining experience, providing a fresh look and fresh food for the campus community. All of the tables, chairs, carpet, ceiling tiles, cabinets and food stations were removed and replaced with totally new, updated additions. Alex′s also received a new coat of paint to match the new color palette.

The layout of the food stations was also reconfigured to have an improved flow and offer more made-to-order options. Some of these include a pizza station, a sub and wrap station, a fresh rotisserie station, and a station that serves rice bowls and burritos in the style of the restaurant chain Chipotle.

“I think the new layout is a lot smoother,” says senior Matt Kennedy.

Sophomore Matthew Montgomery adds, "It's Panera Bread meets the cafeteria. The renovation is a real step up."

Pioneer College Caterers generously funded the renovations to Alex′s, which was last updated in 1993.
