Mt. Union defeats Geneva women′s soccer in a 3-0 final

Beaver Falls, PA- Geneva hosted Mt. Union (OH) today before starting conference play in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference (PAC). Geneva fell in a 3-0 final loss, the Golden Tornadoes' seventh straight loss (1-8).

"On a hot day with a number of injuries our team battled for the entire 90 minutes against a tough Mt. Union team. I am very proud of them and we are looking forward to starting conference play next week," said head coach Linda Sumner.

Geneva′s offense was only able to generate four shots while GT goalkeeper, Anna McMullen, faced 28 total shots. McMullen finished the 90 minutes with 15 saves.

Friday, October 3rd the Golden Tornadoes open conference play at Thiel College starting at 5:30 p.m.
