xc059.jpgLatrobe, PA- Geneva men and women′s cross country raced at Latrobe this morning in the St. Vincent Invitational. Geneva women finished 4th of 17 teams while the men finished 10th out of 12 schools racing.

"The women ran very aggressive from the start and it showed in the results" said head coach Brian Yowler. "Senior captain Anna Wargo had a great day, finishing 13th overall. Of the six PAC schools that ran today, Anna was the top PAC finisher," explained Yowler.

Anna Wargo′s (Pittsburgh, PA/Avonworth) 13th place finish was among 125 runners. She finished with a time of 21:01.3 in the 5K.

Both cross country teams will be back in action October 18th at the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble.
