Tennis pockets 8-1 win at Marrietta

Marietta, OH - Geneva women′s tennis pockets a non-conference win this afternoon at Marietta College. The 8-1 final elevates Geneva′s overall record to 4-5, remaining 1-4 in the conference.

"This was a good win for us, especially after some recent tough losses. As we get back into PAC matches tomorrow I think our confidence will be up again," said head coach Mandee Craft.

Geneva swept doubles with Elizabeth Stewart (Rochester, PA/Rochester) and Samantha Jensen (Muskegon, MI/Mona Shores) in number one, Sara Stoll (Norwalk, OH/Norwalk) and Megan Hinds (Montrose, PA/Montrose) at number two doubles, and Jen Bullock (Wrentham, MA/King Philip Regional) and Nicole Bartoletta (Monaca, PA/Central Valley) won by forfeit.

Tennis is back on the road for a match tomorrow at Thomas More starting at noon.
