Saints hand Golden Tornadoes a 5-4 loss

gc-tennis-8-14-202.jpgCrestview Hills, KY- The Golden Tornadoes were handed a sore 5-4 loss by the Thomas More Saints. The loss lowers Geneva′s overall record to 5-6, 1-5 in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference.

Samantha Jensen defeated Saint opponent; 6-4, 6-3 and Jen Bullock earned a point for Geneva in her 6-3, 6-1 match. In doubles, Elizabeth Stewart (Rochester, PA/Rochester) / Samantha Jensen (Muskegon, MI/Mona Shores) (8-6) and Sara Stoll (Norwalk, OH/Norwalk) / Megan Hinds (Montrose, PA/Montrose) (8-4) teams each defeated their opponents.

Wednesday October 8th Geneva returns to the road, playing Bethany College at 4 p.m.
