Waynesburg, PA- Geneva joined Chatham and Grove City at Waynesburg today in a conference tournament. Geneva defeated Waynesburg in three (25-10, 25-15, 25-9) and turned around to face Chatham, grabbing its second win (25-6, 25-6, 25-9). The two wins raise the Golden Tornadoes overall record to 20-8, 12-2 in the Presidents′ Athletic Conference.
"As we approach playoffs every conference match is really important. We played well this week and hope to continue that as we head down the home stretch next week," said co-head coach Curt Conser.
Tuesday October 28 at 7 p.m. Geneva will face Washington & Jefferson on the road.
